Asian Avenue magazine would like to invite you to join our Joy of Living Club! The club is for couples and singles interested in a cultural mix for a unique and diverse membership. With our mission to introduce our readers to Asian dining, we also hope to create an atmosphere where we can make long-lasting friendships, and most of all, have fun!

Membership Benefits:
1) One dining event at an Asian-themed restaurant in the Denver metro area every three months
2) 20% discount on all “Joy of Living” Club dinners and events (entertainment, seminars, lectures, etc.)
3) One year subscription to Asian Avenue magazine, the one and only magazine featuring Asian arts, entertainment, and dining in Colorado.

March 2009 JOL Club Event -Wild Ginger Thai Restaurant

On March 27th, guests enjoyed the hot and spicy dishes of Thai cuisine at the March Joy of Living Club event at Wild Ginger Thai Restaurant in Littleton! Thai food is known for its use of fresh herbs and spices. The delicious menu included hand wrapped fried egg rolls with marinated pork and been thread noodles, pad thai noodles, panang curry, pad prew wan and thai custard.

January 2009 JOL Event - Empress Seafood Restaurant
On January 23rd, we celebrated the Lunar New Year at Empress Seafood Restaurant with 50+ attendees. The evening included a ten-course dinner, performances from Christina Yeh’s Dance Studio, informational facts on how to celebrate the Chinese New Year, Chinese horoscopes and fun riddles and prizes. Thank you to those who joined us to ring in the new year of the ox!

is the 2009 New year celebration open to young children or is it more for adults?

We would also like to know if we can bring a 10 year old to the New Year celebration - with the purchase of a ticket for them, of course!
