CDBF Chooses Honorary Chair and Patrons for 2008

From washing dishes to owning one of Denver’s top restaurants, and from the United Nations to teaching Condoleezza Rice, the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival’s (CDBF) 2008 Honorary Chair and Patrons are nothing less than amazing! The CDBF is proud to announce Professor Ved P. Nanda as its Honorary Chair, and Leo K. and Linda L. Goto as Honorary Patrons for the 8th Annual Colorado Dragon Boat Festival being held July 26-27 at Sloan’s Lake Park.
Nominated by the Asian Pacific American (APA) community as a positive role model, Professor Nanda has taught at the University of Denver (DU) since 1965, and currently serves as both the John Evans University Professor and the Vice Provost for Internationalization. During his tenure, he has proudly taught thousands of talented individuals, including three of President Bush’s current cabinet members. Professor Nanda serves on the National Council of the United Nations Association-USA. He has been a Distinguished Visiting Professor and Scholar at universities across the globe and has authored 23 books on international law.
