On August 8th, 
Tricia Chinn Campbell’s first children’s book was released, Kai And The Magic Jacket by Blissful Thinking Publishing,
LLC.
Kai And The Magic Jacket features a 5-year old boy named Kai who is given an ornate silk Chinese jacket. Passed down through many family generations, this isn’t just any ordinary jacket. Once Kai puts it on, three ancestors from another time appear. In this coming of age story, the ancestors offer guidance and a little humor as young Kai confronts choices and peer pressure. Kai sets an example on how to overcome these pressures at which point, he no longers needs the magic jacket.
Kai And The Magic Jacket will complement lessons related to social learning situations for young children at home and in the classroom.
The goal is to encourage children to deal with any anxiety and/or anger with both grace and confidence.
